This Wednesday, September 10, at 6:30 PM, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Choir cordially invites you to join them for a potluck picnic to kick off their new season of rehearsing. Whether you wish to join the choir, praise them for the work they do, or if you simply just want to eat, come enjoy a little time together as we gather outside behind the grotto of the statue of the Virgin Mary on Fort Hamilton Parkway.

The choir wants to start off the "new year" with a potluck picnic - inviting all current, former and future members of music ministry and their families; anyone and everyone who might be thinking about joining the choir; and friends of choir members. You don’t have to be a member OR read music to eat with us! But please invite any friends who might like to “make a joyful noise” with us!

We’ll provide the tables and chairs; plates, cups and silverware; ice and water. (If you want something else to drink, bring your own!) You can either bring food for yourself, or your favorite dish to pass. Try a new recipe! There’s a grill available, if you want to use it and clean it! Join us for good food, good company and perhaps we’ll end the night by singing one or two of the choir’s favorite pieces. But that’s up to them...

To RSVP; to let us know what you want to bring; or to find out what we need based on what others are bringing, email me or call me at the number above. As a member of the parish family, help make our meal a celebration…
