This Saturday, January 16
th we present the Third Annual #young@heart concert at 7:30 PM. Two of our own parishioners are performing: Phillip Milbouer will play the harp and Jesse Broome is playing flute. There will also be singers and organ solos. And for the first time, we’re featuring young@art! Students from the Churchill School and Center will have works of visual art on display as well!

Chapter 9 of The Church of Mercy by Pope Francis that our parish is reading is called “A House of Harmony”. He says “Let us think about the image of a symphony, which implies accord, harmony… This is a beautiful image illustrating that the Church is like a great orchestra in which there is great variety. And this is the beauty of the Church: everyone brings their own gifts which God has given, for the sake of enriching others.”

Allow the creativity of these talented young people to enrich you. But do more than just think about whether you’re able to attend. Participate in “the evangelical mission of the Church” and help spread the word! Invite a neighbor, even if you can’t come. As “an exemplary form of outreach to the community” tell at least one person who doesn’t attend Mass here. Spread the news and the joy of music...
