Keyboard Lessons?

I’m offering another session of affordable piano keyboard classes. So whether you’re beginning or need to refresh your skills, now’s your chance to study music with group or private lessons. Group lessons double as a way of introducing children to an instrument as well as new potential friends. Adults can seek out their passion for music. Learning piano helps anyone studying another instrument. Band and string players usually begin playing in a group context, so why not keyboardists? I did! And costing less than private instruction helps too!

A 10-week course of 45-minute weekly lessons will follow a sequential approach to building basic keyboard skills and understanding musical notation. The small classes of 3 – 8 students each will start on Tuesday, March 13
th in the Good Shepherd. The $200 fee (that’s only $20 a lesson!) includes instruction books and keyboards to play during the lesson, but each student will need their own keyboard to practice on.

If I don’t have at least 3 people to fill a class, or if you wish to study privately, I’m also offering 30-minute private lessons at a mutually convenient day and time. This 10-week block of private lessons is $300; or $30 a lesson. So whether you want group or private lessons, you can download a registration form below, or from Steven Vaughan after any Mass. But in order to have supplies ready for you, you need to be registered by March 13
