There’s so much happening! Next Saturday, December 12
th, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church presents "The Music of A Charlie Brown Christmas" following the 5:00 PM Mass. First, our choir and cuori BELLissimi! will lead us in a few Christmas carols in front of the church for the 11th Annual Angel & Tree Lighting. Then, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the animated holiday television special, and The Peanuts Movie playing now, a small jazz combo will play the arrangements of Vince Guaraldi, who composed the Charlie Brown theme.

Then on Sunday, December 13
th, I’m the bass soloist for Bach’s Magnificat with the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chorus at 6:30 PM at St. Augustine’s Church. Call (718) 907-0963 or look online for tickets. And if you want to sing with me, come to the National Chorale’s 48th Annual Handel’s Messiah Sing-In on Wednesday, December 9th, where the audience is the chorus!

For The Church of Mercy book by Pope Francis that our parish is reading, I've scheduled an online "virtual discussion" group. Participants receive an email each week with questions about three chapters; we email back and forth, and then a summary of our ideas is posted online. So if you'd like to join, email me!
