Curtis Stephan received his Bachelor’s degree in music and his master’s degree in Jazz studies from the University of North Texas. Living in Frisco, TX with his wife and two sons, he is now the music director for St. Ann’s parish in Coppell, TX, where his music ministry can be characterized as one of service. His faith-filled journey has included four World Youth Day celebrations, The Living Global Rosary held in the Cotton Bowl — which he directed — and a special Papal event for youth in Turin, Italy.

Having committed his life to serving the Gospel through music, Curtis has recorded numerous albums including Through the Storm, Sacred Revolution and the Advent/Christmas CD, Born to Us. He has also composed theme songs for the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) and the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress Youth Day. His Mass of Renewal is one of the Mass settings we sing here at Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Strong roots in parish life and ministry combined with his many faith-filled experiences and education let Curtis share something very special with each community he visits. His ultimate goal is to serve each parish he is invited to by helping them finding their own voice to lift up to our God in praise. He is visiting our parish, and will be at all three Masses the weekend of September 21st & 22nd to speak and to hear our interpretation of his Mass setting.

At the Age to Age: Generations of Faith concert on Sunday, September 22nd, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase his latest CD's, get his autograph, and with a VIP ticket share cocktails and conversation with him at a private reception. And if you’re want to purchase General Admission tickets, hurry! There are less than 75 left!
